After 2 corona-years I’m finally back at my favourite restaurant in the Philippines! The hosts make you feel so welcomed and cared for, and the food is amazing as always. This time I enjoyed, among other tasty things, an excellent Singapore chili crab and also an amazing seafood pizza, served with a wonderful sunset in the background. Can’t wait to be back again!!

White Bech at Puerto Galera has too many restaurants and bars that serve the same food, so it’s great to have the Verandah as an escape for delicious European cuisine. I’ve been to Puerto Galera twice (my first time in July 2019 and more recently in March 2020) and the food is always great. I love the ambiance at night with the sound of the waves crashing into the beach and the fairy light hanging from the ceiling. The service is very genuine and welcoming. Chef Franz and his business partner, Joe, are very friendly. I look forward to my next visit, I’m already missing the food!

Resto Veranda is a little outdoor restaurant facing White Beach in Puerto Galera. We make it a point to have lunch there everytime we’re in town. Our favorite is the fondue. While fondue should be more at home in the snowcapped mountains of Switzerland, our kids now associate it with the beach at PG. The menu is an eclectic blend of western and asian food and everything we’ve tried has been excellent. Do try the tuna sashimi salad from the appetizers.
